[03/05/2017] From Monday 24 April to Friday 28 April enfas presented itself on the world’s largest industrial trade show in Hannover. Participating in this event for the first time, the company was represented at two different joint stands.
enfas ‑ „researches for the future“
At the joint stand „Research for the future“ of Universities and Colleges of Central Germany enfas exhibited together with Martin-Luther-University Halle-Wittenberg.
The focus here was on the cooperation in research between enfas and the MLU. For several years now they are jointly researching on innovative energy storage systems. Currently the common research topic is on the development of an innovative Composite Capacitor, which was exhibited at the stand. Due to the interesting and innovative ambition in research several political guests announced their visit.
Dr. Jürgen Ude, State Secretary in the Ministry of Economics, Science and Digitalization in the state of Saxony-Anhalt, and
Thomas Wünsch, State Secretary in the Ministry of Economics, Science and Digitalization in the state of Saxony-Anhalt and head of department, came to catch up on the latest research activities of both partners.
enfas highly innovative on behalf of the European Commission
Additionally enfas presented itself on the joint stand together with the European Commission. Exhibition object was a unique EtherCat Module developed by enfas. This development project which is sponsored by EuroCPS not only attracted interested exhibition participants but brought also high-ranking visitors.
Günther Öttinger, EU Commissioner for Budget and Personnel was very interested in the object of research as well as in the innovation power of enfas.
In summary, through participation in the opening ceremony and after five fascinating days at the trade show, enfas was able to present part of its achievements in system development, engage in interesting discussions with visitors and make a lot of valuable new contacts.
